David Aynat appeared in 11 games as a senior and scored three goals on nine shots. Aynat scored his first college goal in a win over Fordham and added goals in wins over Connecticut College and Washington & Jefferson. Aynat added assists in the wins over Connecticut College and Washington & Jefferson and had a total of seven steals on the year, with a best of three in the W&J win. He added two more in a win over Iona.
Aynat played in nine games as a junior, collecting two steals and drawing an ejection. He notched a steal in a win over Harvard and Princeton Southern quarterfinal win over Gannon. He also added his drawn ejection in the Gannon game. Aynat had two shots in the season and those came in wins over George Washington and MIT.
Aynat appeared in four games as a sophomore, recording steals in three of the four appearances. His first appearance came in a win over Harvard and he had steals against Harvard, George Washington and Gannon. Aynat did not appear in any games his freshman year.
Aynat played varsity water polo at Miami Killian Senior High for his senior year and was selected an All-Dade Honorable Mention and Defensive Most Valuable Player during his senior year, scoring 40 goals. He was also a four-year varsity swimmer, serving as team captain his senior year. He was First Team All-Dade as a junior year, and the team's MVP for both his junior and senior seasons.
