2012: Saw action both in goal and in the field ... in goal, played in two games, starting one ... saw action off the bench versus Iona, tallying five saves in 5:17 of work (10/20) ... started and played the entire match versus Notre Dame College, tallying a 16-7 win behind 11 saves (11/2) ... in the field, played eight games, tallying a pair of steals and an assist ... made lone assist versus Iona (9/15) ... had steals versus Cal Lutheran (9/7) and MIT (9/8).
2011: Started 17 games as a sophomore and appeared in an additional five as he recorded a 14-3 record and a .560 save percentage. Amina started Princeton's first 11 games and went 10-1 in the span. He stopped seven shots in a season-opening win over 13th-ranked Santa Clara and had a season-high 13 in a win over Brown at the Princeton Invitational. Amina added an 11-save performance in a road league win at Navy and made 11 more in a loss to fourth-ranked Stanford at the SoCal Tournament. Amina won the opening round games of Southerns and Easterns, making 12 saves against Iona in the Eastern first round.
2010: Appeared in five games during his rookie campaign and stopped 14 of the 21 shots he faced. Amina had five saves in a quarter against Iona and made five in the second half of a win over Gannon. Amina added an assist and steal, along with two saves in a quarter against George Washington.
Before Princeton:
Amina was the Kamehameha High School Scholar Athlete of the Year as a senior member of the water polo and swimming teams. Amina served as captain of both teams as a senior and was a three-time All-Interscholastic League of Hawaii honoree, earning second-team honors as a sophomore and junior and first-team honors as a senior. Amina was also a California-Hawaii ninth-team All-America goalie. Amina placed fourth in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free Relay, and seventh in the 50 Free at the 2010 Hawaii high school swimming championships.
