2010-11: earned Princeton's Treide Trophy, for the wrestler whose spirit, ability and sportsmanship has contributed most to the sport … recorded career-best 18 victories and placed eighth at EIWA Championships … earned eighth seed and won consolation round match over Brown's Ziad Kharbush … had critical 8-6 overtime win to lead Princeton to 18-16 upset win at Bucknell … won eight of his 18 victories by fall, including five of last six … pinned Kharbush to help Princeton record comeback win over Brown for lone Ivy team win of the season. 2009-10: earned winning record with 17 victories as full-season 174-pound starter … named co-captain prior to season … won 10 of 15 matches beginning in January … placed seventh at EIWA Championships after earning wins over Navy's Michael Billings (12-11) and Columbia's Stephen West (8-5) … won six straight matches late in season, including victories in each of Princeton's three Ivy League wins over Harvard, Brown and Columbia; dual victory over columbia's West was a late 4-3 triumph … earned 2-1 decision over Rider's Jim Renick in near team upset. 2008-09: won 12 matches as the 174-pound starter during sophomore season … won first EIWA match in 2009 consolation round, a 16-10 victory over Columbia's Michael Wolfer; the win avenged a tight 3-1 regular season loss to Wolfer. 2007-08: became Princeton’s first All-Ivy wrestler since 2005 when he earned All-Ivy honorable mention as a freshman … winner of the 2008 Hooker Trophy, given to the freshman that has shown the most improvement on the season … won 13 regular-season matches, including six of his last eight … represented Princeton at 174 pounds in the EIWA championships and lost two close maches.
At Hunting Valley University School
Earned four varsity letters in wrestling and competed in the 125, 135, 145 and 152-pound weight classes … placed seventh in the Ohio state championships as a junior … earned three varsity letters in football as a free safety … earned National Merit Honorable Mention.
