Brian Ackerman started at Princeton in July of 2024 as an Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager. Working at Caldwell Fieldhouse, he assists with the equipment operations for teams based out of Caldwell Fieldhouse. In addition, he also assists with the equipment operations for the Football program.
Brian was Princeton Equipment’s first intern in the spring of 2024. During his time with the department, he split time between Caldwell Fieldhouse, where he assisted with Olympic sport equipment operations, and Baker Rink where he assisted the Ice Hockey programs with their day-to-day equipment operations. Brian worked closely with both the Women’s Ice Hockey program and the Men’s Lacrosse program on game days.
Prior to Princeton, Brian was a Student Equipment Manager and Equipment Operations Intern with Temple University’s Football team. At Temple, Brian assisted the equipment staff with managing the equipment needs for over one hundred student-athletes and thirty staff members. He worked daily with the defensive line to ensure all their equipment was prepared for practices.
Brian graduated from Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management. Brian is a native of Northeast Philadelphia, where he currently resides.
