Greg Busch '99 returned to his alma mater as Princeton’s Senior Associate Athletic Director, Student-Athlete Experience in September 2022. In this capacity, Busch oversees the Athletic Department’s NCAA Compliance efforts, along with Princeton Tiger Performance, and student-athlete programming efforts. Busch also serves as the sport administrator for the field hockey, men's soccer, women's basketball, men’s and women’s swimming/diving, men’s and women’s golf, and women’s lacrosse programs.
A 1999 graduate of Princeton, Busch was a member of the Tigers’ men’s soccer team and an English major as an undergraduate. Following graduation, Busch worked at NFL Films, where he was an Emmy-nominated producer before joining Princeton as an Assistant Athletic Director from 2003-06. He transitioned from Princeton to Rider University, where he served as the Broncs’ Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Internal Operations from 2006-2022. At Rider, Busch was instrumental in running the athletic department’s day-to-day operations. He also helped lead the Broncs’ baseball, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country/track and field programs to multiple conference championships as a sport administrator. Outside of his athletic department responsibilities, Busch contributed to the educational mission at Rider as an adjunct instructor at both the undergraduate and graduate level, teaching a variety of courses in sports communication and athletic administration.
He and his wife, Thomasina, reside in New Jersey and are the parents of Cal, Ella, and Mason.
