Jessica Ward is Associate Director of Athletics for Campus Recreation.
Jess began working for Princeton Athletics in 2008 as the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation for intramural sports, special events, and summer day camp. Prior to Princeton, Jess worked with the Monmouth County Park System as a Recreation and as the Assistant Director of the Cook/ Doulgass Recreation Center at Rutgers.
A member of the Princeton Athletics senior leadership team, Jess is an active member of the NASPA and NIRSA (Leaders in Collegiate Recreation) where she is a recipient of The Horace Moody Award for outstanding commitment to student development in 2017. She serves as co-chair for Campus Life Professional Development Committee and co-chair for Committee on Campus Recreation, and on several campus-wide committees. She is an Open Expressions Monitor and the Alternate Staff Representative for the FY20 Council of the Princeton University Community.
Jess holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy, institution and behaviors from Rutgers University and master’s degree in recreation and sports management from Indiana State University. She enjoys spending free time with family, playing golf, reading and being active. She resides in Monmouth County, N.J. with her husband and two sons.
