Michelle DeJuliis is in her seventh season as an assistant coach with the Princeton women’s lacrosse program, having joined the staff during the 2004-05 academic year.
She serves as the offensive coordinator and also has primary responsibilities for skill development and team conditioning.
DeJuliis was captain of the 2009 US Women's World Cup team that won the 2009 FIL World Cup in Prague. She has been a member of U.S. National Team program since 1994, and was an alternate on the 2005 World Cup team.
In her six years at Old Nassau, DeJuliis has helped the program to a an 80-44 record. The Tigers boast an Ivy League mark of 37-12 and have made the NCAA Tournament five of those six years, reaching the quarterfinal round all five of those season. In her time at Princeton, DeJuliis has coached the Tigers to 17 IWLCA All-America honors, 12 Tewaaraton nominations or appearances on the Watch List. In addition three have been named Ivy League Players of the Year, two Rookie of the Year, and 40 have received All-Ivy League honors.
Before entering the coaching profession in 2004, DeJuliis spent five years as a member of the Baltimore City Police Department and was a member of its SWAT team. Joining the department in 1999, DeJuliis spent time as a patrol and tactical officer before moving onto the detective ranks, completing her service as a detective with the Executive Protection Unit. She earned a Meritorious Conduct Award and the Police Commissioner’s Award of Excellence while serving the department.
DeJuliis is the founder of The Ultimate Goal Lacrosse Club, establish in January 2001. Ultimate Goal, based in Philadelphia, develops and organizes clinics, camps and tournaments for adolescent and high school aged players.
A native of Baltimore, DeJuliis was inducted into the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2008. She also serves as the chair of the IWLCA’s Recruiting Education Committee and as a member of the Mid-Atlantic All-Region Committee.
