Cristina Cobb-Adams, a 2006 Princeton graduate and two-time All-Ivy honoree, is in her fifth season as an assistant coach in 2012.
“It’s great to have an alumna of the program working with our current student-athletes,” Princeton head coach Trina Salcido says. “Cristina was a tremendous leader and player during her career as a Tiger. Her work ethic and knowledge of the game contributed to her success as a player and are what make her a valuable asset to this program’s future.”
Cobb-Adams, an outstanding shortstop, earned honorable mention from the Ivy League in 2003 and 2005, helping lead the Tigers to the NCAA tournament in those two seasons as well as her senior campaign of 2006.
While playing in and starting 200 of Princeton’s 202 games during her career, Cobb-Adams logged 627 at-bats, the fourth most in program history. Cobb-Adams finished with 161 hits, 32 doubles, five triples and 69 RBIs while compiling a .257 career batting average.
A native of Dublin, Calif., Cobb-Adams earned her Princeton degree as a geoscience major.
