The morning after Princeton's men's basketball team emerged from Bologna's Land Rover Arena with a 93-87 win over Fortitudo Kontatto, an Italian second-division pro team, in a game that included a 21-point fourth-quarter comeback, it was time to head to the next city.

While Saturday night found Princeton in Vicenza, it was Venice where the Tigers spent most of their day, riding a water taxi to the island city and touring a glass blowing company before a brief guided tour of San Marco Square and time to explore the streets and shops.

Venice was just a day trip, with Vicenza, including attending the city's season-opening soccer game, on the evening agenda. In a battle of second-division Italian teams, Carpi defeated Vicenza Calcio 2-0 as supporters from both sides traded chants and songs from across the field.

Saturday was the lone off day from games in a four-day stretch that began yesterday, and Sunday will put Princeton against ASD Pallacanestro Vicenza, a third-division Italian pro team, in the Tigers' second of three games in Italy. Tip time is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. local time/2:30 p.m. ET in Vicenza's Arena Pagoldoni.
