Athletic Accomplishments:
Eric was a second-team All-Ivy League honoree last season, leading the team at the 2016 Ivy League Championships and finishing sixth overall.
Off the Course:
Eric competed in Princeton's "Hack Princeton" competition where around 500 college students are evaluated by a panel of judges on how creatively the group can use some type of technology, whether it's to be practical or not. Hack Princeton doesn't have any constraints; no requirements for what the teams are building, which is why Eric deems the competition tough.
Eric got involved in Hack Princeton through his friends, who attend other Universities and were talking about their own school's competition. He then became interested in the competition even though he had no prior experience, and got his friends together to compete in Princeton's version.
Eric on Eric:"(Hack Princeton) changed my Princeton experience because it made me realize that you can try your hand on things, even though you may not expect anything from it. You could wind up having a significant impact ... from clubs that [I thought] I couldn't have an impact in, or an event where having an impact isn't possible because I'm just one person. "
