Men's Volleyball Team Holds Off NYU for 3-1 win

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Princeton claimed its sixth victory of the season by holding off a late rally by NYU for a 3-1 win. It was the Tigers' second 3-1 win over Tait Division rival NYU this month. On Feb. 9, the Tigers also defeated the Violets.
Princeton jumped with 15-9 and 15-4 victories before dropping the third game 15-12. The Tigers battled back in the fourth game to win 15-10.
Freshman Dennis Alshuler led the way with 22 kills and 11 digs while junior Steve Cooper had 15 kills and a .333 attack percentage. Ryan Black added 10 kills while Blair Anderson had seven kills to only one error.
Senior Jason Morrow led the offense with 57 assists. Princeton is now 6-5 overall and 3-3 in the Tait Division. The Tigers will play at Concordia in a crucial match for postseason consideration Friday night in Bronxville, N.Y.
