MEN'S BASKETBALL

Highlights
- Chris Young (So., Dallas, Texas) was named a unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection
- Spencer Gloger (Fr., Santa Margarita, Calif.) was named an honorable mention All-Ivy selection
- Nate Walton (Jr., San Diego, Calif.) tied his career high with 14 points and set a career high with 11 rebounds against Penn
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Highlights
- After beginning the Ivy season 1-6, the Tigers won five of their last seven.
- Tri-captain Kate Thirolf (Sr., Rockville, Md.) scored 17 points on 6 of 12 shooting, including a 4 for 5 performance from three-point land, against the Quakers. She added six rebounds. She will graduate with 1,174 career points, good for eighth place all-time.
- Senior Maggie Langlas (Missoula, Mont.) finished her career seventh on the all-time scoring list with 1,188 total points.
- Thirolf was selected first-team All-Ivy, while Langlas earned honorable mention All-Ivy accolades.
MEN'S HOCKEY

Record: 10-16-4 (8-9-4 ECAC, 5-3-2 Ivy)
Highlights
- The Class of 2000 ends with 66 victories, more than any other class in the history of the program
- Chris Corrinet (Jr., Greenfield, Mass.) scored Princeton's only goal in the season-ending 2-1 loss at Clarkson
- Shane Campbell (Jr., Red Deer, Alberta) and Dave Bennett (So., Warwick, R.I.) scored goals in Friday's 3-2 loss
- Dave Stathos (So., Longueuil, Que.) made 61 saves over the weekend
BASEBALL
Last week: defeated Old Dominion 8-3 (March 10), lost to Old Dominion 16-10 (March 11), lost the Old Dominion 10-1 (March 12)
This week: at William and Mary (March 13), at Virginia (March 14-15), at VMI (March 15), at Virginia Commonwealth (March 17-18)

Highlights
- Max Krance (Jr., South Nyack, N.Y.) knocked in three runs in the first game against Old Dominion, as the Tigers snapped the Monarchs' four-game winning streak with an 8-3 victory.
- Co-captain Jason Quintana (Sr., Chester, N.J.) scattered four hits and three runs over six innings to get hit first win of the season.
- Casey Hildreth (Jr., Westfield, Mass.) went three-for-three with an RBI and four runs scored in the 16-10 loss to Old Dominion on Saturday.
SOFTBALL

MEN'S FENCING

Highlights
- Members of the men's fencing will await the NCAA finalist selections, which will be announced later this week.
- Ed Chow (Fr., Franklin Lakes, N.J.), who entered regional competition as the 19th seed, won six victories en route to a fifth-place finish in the sabre.
- Captain Jason Burrell (Sr., Bethesda, Md.) defeated No. 1 seed Yevgeni Niyzov of Rutgers and finished the day in fourth place.
WOMEN'S FENCING

Record: 15-2, 5-0 Ivy
Highlights
- Members of the women's fencing will await the NCAA finalist selections, which will be announced later this week.
- After winning nine bouts on Sunday, Maya Lawrence (So., Teaneck, N.J.) finished third in the foil weapon.
- Mindy Rostal (Fr., Maplewood, Minn.) finished third in the foil competition with seven victories, while classmate Eva Petschnigg (Koblenz, Germany) finished first with 10 victories.
WOMEN'S WATER POLO
Last week: CWPA League games at Villanova (March 11-12)
This week: at UC-Davis (March 15), at UCal-Berkeley (March 16), at San Jose State and Pacific (March 18)
Record: 9-0, 4-0 CWPA
Highlights
- Princeton won four games over the weekend, including two over Pennsylvania, in its first CWPA League action.
- Adel McCarthy (Fr., Haydenville, Mass.) scored five goals and had three assists in Princeton's 10-3 win over host Villanova on Saturday night. She scored nine goal in three games on Saturday.
- Senior captain Gogo Vukmirovic (Sarajevo, Bosnia) tallied 17 saves and allowed only three goals against the Wildcats.

- Josh Sims (Sr., Edgewater, Md.) had three goals and one assist
- Trevor Tierney (Jr., Princeton, N.J.) made 16 saves in goal
- B.J. Prager (So., Garden City, N.Y.) extended his streak of games with at least one goal to 13

Highlights
- Princeton faces two ranked teams this week, as the No. 2 Blue Devils and No. 6 Hoyas come to Old Nassau.
- Sophomore Lauren Simone (Delran, N.J.) scored one goal and had one assist against Loyola. She leads the team with eight points (5g, 3a), which matches her point total for the entire 1999 season.
- Julie Shaner (Jr., Gwynedd Valley, Pa.) scored two goals against Loyola. She also tallied five ground balls and four caused turnovers.
