PRINCETON, N.J. - A spread out attack led the Princeton women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Yale in Ivy League action on Saturday afternoon in Dillon Gymnasium. The Tigers are now 8-7 and 2-3 during league play, while the loss drops the Bulldogs to 6-9 and 0-6 during Ivy action.
Sophomore Kellie Cramm (Laguna Beach, Calif.) registered 14 kills and eight digs, while junior Michelle Buffum (San Jose, Calif.) had 14 kills and three digs. Senior captain Ana Yoerg (Bloomfield, Mich.) turned in 46 assists, nine digs and two blocks. Freshman Ashley Webber (South Pasadena, Calif.) turned in 13 kills and eight digs. Freshman Alex Brown (Los Altos, Calif.) capped a strong weekend for the Tigers with an 11 kill, eight dig performance.
Jana Freeman paced Yale's attack with a team-leading 15 kills and 16 digs. Dana Loberg and Carissa Abbott each had 13 kills for the Bulldogs,k while Vanessa Herald chipped in 13 digs.
Princeton will be on the road next weekend for a 7 p.m. match against Dartmouth on Friday, Oct. 26 and a 4 p.m. meeting with Harvard on Saturday, Oct. 27.
