Women's Swim Team Too Strong For Cornell

Philadelphia, Pa. - As part of a double-dual meet with Pennsylvania on Saturday, Princeton defeated Cornell 166-122 at Philadelphia, Pa. The Tigers got out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 15 of 16 events on the day.
Seniors Kate Conroy and Danielle Stamandi each won two events with Conroy taking the 100 back (58.01) and 200 back (2:06.86) while Stamandi captured the 1- and 3-meter diving events.
Juniors Lauren Rossi and Molly Seto also won two events apiece. Rossi took first in the 100 breast (1:06.73) and 200 breast (2:23.87) and Seto won both the 100 fly (57.55) and 200 fly (2:07.74).
Freshman Amy Jones capped the Princeton two-event winners with victories in the 100 free (52.73) and 200 free (1:51.79).
Princeton improved to 3-0 with Saturday's wins and will take on Ivy foe Brown on Nov. 29 in Providence, R.I.
