New York, N.Y. - Ashley Weber (Fr., South Pasadena, Calif) had 16 kills as the Princeton women's volleyball team defeated the Lions of Columbia 3-0(30-20, 30-21,30-26) and improved it's record to 11-7, 5-3 against Ivy League competition. Columbia slips to 9-10 and 2-7 in league play.
Princeton last faced Columbia on October 13 and lost the match 3-1. At that point in the season, Princeton stood 0-3 against league competition. Since that date, the Tigers have gone undefeated against Ivy opponents.
Weber, who was recently name the IvyLeagueSports.com Rookie of the Week, had a team high 16 kills in the match. Kelly Cramm (So., Laguna Beach, Calif.) had a team high 14 digs and registered eight kills. Michelle Buffum (Jr., San Jose, Calif.) had seven digs and also picked up eight kills.
