Princeton Loses Tough Five-Game Match vs. Penn State

Princeton, N.J. - Penn State defeated Princeton 3-2 (25-30, 23-30, 30-20, 30-25, 15-6) in men's college volleyball action on Saturday, as the Nittany Lions won the last three games. Dennis Alshuler had 18 kills, Blair Anderson tallied nine digs and Jason Liljestrom had 34 assists in the defeat. This was the final home game for Blair Anderson (Sr., Laguna Beach, Calif.), Ryan Black (Sr., Webster, N.Y.), Steve Cooper (Webster, N.Y.) and Kevin Roche (Sr., Cherry Hill, N.J.). Cooper added seven kills, Black was credited with four kills and Roche compiled seven digs.
The Tigers, who are ranked sixth in the EIVA Tait Division, play at third-ranked George Mason on Friday in the first round of the conference tournament.
