Men's Water Polo Defeats Iona, 9-5

PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Kevin Foster (Davis, Calif) scored three goals to lead the Princeton water polo team to a 9-5 win over Iona in the North/South Invitational. The Tigers are now 8-1.
Princeton, who was coming off of last night's heartbreaking 11-10 overtime loss to Harvard, also got two goals from senior co-captain Marshall Roslyn (Philadelphia, Pa.) and junior Robert Urquhart (Ann Arbor, Mich.). Sophomores Dan McKenna (Wyndmoor, Pa.) and D.J. Halliday (Orinda, Calif.) each added one goal in the win.
Freshman goalkeeper Peter Sabbatini (Annapolis, Md.) had a great game in goal, holding Iona to just five scores.
The Tigers return to the pool at 1:25 p.m. this afternoon to face Queens before closing the day with a 9 p.m. meeting with Massachusetts.
