Crimson Top Tigers 3-0 in Women's Volleyball

Harvard's Kaoego Ogbechie registered a game-high 23 kills as Crimson defeated the Tigers 3-0 in women's volleyball. Abby Studer (Sr., Single Mountain, Tenn.) tallied 14 kills four the Tigers as they drop to 11-4, 4-3 IVY on the season. With the win, Harvard improves to 11-8, 7-1 IVY.
The Tiger found themselves down early, dropping the first game 30-18 registering 13 kills on 43 attempts. In the second game, the Tigers rallied from being down eight points to pull the score even. Tied at 30-30, the teams played into extra points. Two costly serving errors by the Tigers allowed the Crimson to win the second game 34-32. Harvard won the third game 30-23.
Michelle Buffum (Sr., San Jose, Calif.) and Kellie Cramm(Jr., Laguna Beach, Calif.) tallied 13 kills in the loss. Freshman Jenny Senske (Long Beach, Calif.) recorded a team-high 41 assists. Studer and Buffum each recorded one block.
Ali Bendush had 15 kills and Nelly Schweitzer had 12 kills for the Crimson. Mindy Jellin had a team-high 48 assists for Harvard.
The Tigers travel to Villanova on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. and return to Ivy League action when they host Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1.
