Princeton, N.J. - Ashley Weber's match-winning kill in the fourth game sealed an eight-point come from behind from behind victory as the Tigers topped Columbia 3-1 in women's volleyball. Weber finished the game with 12 kills. With the win Princeton improves to 12-5, 5-3 IVY; Columbia slips to 8-14, 1-8 IVY.
The Tigers took the first game 30-21but Columbia pulled the match even, taking the second game 30-24. Princeton won the third game 30-25 and the fourth 31-29.
Michelle Buffum led the Tigers with 17 kills and was the Princeton server on the final eight points in the fourth game as the Tigers rallied from being down 23-29. Abby Studer had 13 kills and a team-high five blocks. Jenny Senske recorded 38 assists in the victory. Kerri Song tallied 24 digs in the win.
Madia Willis recorded a game-high 23 kills for Columbia. Kathy Lavold registered 12
The Tigers returns to action on Saturday, November 2 at 4:00 p.m. when they host Cornell.
