Women Place Fifth at Cross Country's NCAA Regionals

Davis, W. Va - Emily Kroshus paced the Tigers to a fifth place out of 27 schools at the NCAA Mid Atlantic Regionals hosted by the West Virginia University at the Canaan Valley Golf Course. Georgetown finished first and Villanova placed second. The top two teams receive automatic bids to the NCAA Championships.
Kroshus crossed the 6k finish line at 21:03.9, good for a sixth place individual finish. Laura Petrillo was the next Tiger finisher, crossing the line in 23rd place with a time of 21:49.8. Becca Snyder placed 27th with a time of 22:09.8. Cack Ferrell took 40th (22:32.7) and Marian Bihrle rounded out the Princeton top-five with a 53rd place finish (22:47.7)
Georgetown, captured the team title with 50 points and top-10 finishes by Sarah Scholl, Jodee Adams-Moore and Treniere Clement. Villanova took second in the team standings with 47 points and Penn State finished third with 111 points. Princeton took fifth with 144 points.
