Women's Squash Sweeps Brown, Takes Eight Matches 3-0

The Princeton women's squash team continued its quick start in the 2002-03 season with a 9-0 victory over Brown Saturday afternoon in Providence, R.I. The Tigers won eight of the nine matches by a 3-0 score. Freshman Ruchika Kumar continues to impress at the top spot, winning her match over Lillian Rosenthal 9-2, 9-3, 9-1.
Anne Warner had Princeton's closest match of the afternoon, defeating Phoebe Anderson in five tough games. After splitting 9-6 scores in the first two games, Warner took the third game with a 10-9 win. Anderson rallied for a 10-8 win in the fourth game, but Warner had enough to take the decisive game 9-5.
Princeton will play Vassar and Franklin & Marshall Sunday afternoon.
