PRINCETON, NJ - Blake Robinson had a match-high 21 kills and a team-high 10 digs, but the three-game winning streak of the men's volleyball team came to a close with a 3-1 loss to NYU on Thursday night at the Coles Sports Center. The loss drops the Tigers to 5-7. The Violets are now 6-2.
The Tigers won the first game 30-14, but dropped the next three: 30-27, 30-28, 30-24.
Robinson also recorded two solo blocks and three block assists, while Ryn Burns contributed nine kills and four digs. Jason Liljestrm added 41 assists.
Kevin Edwards and Evan Finch each recorded a team-high 16 kills for NYU, while sophomore Mike Moser added 14. Dominic Griffin added a game-high 12 digs, while tallying 50 assists.
Princeton will host Rutgers on Tuesday, Feb. 26. That match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Dillon Gymnasium.
