NEWARK, NJ - Blake Robinson (Fr., Aliso Viejo, CA) had a match-high 27 kills and 11 digs to lead Princeton to a 3-1 (30-26, 29-31, 30-15, 30-24) win over NJIT in EIVA Tait Division action on Thursday night at Entwisle Gymnasium. The Tigers improves to 13-11, 8-6 with the win. NJIT, closes out its season with records of 1-22 and 1-14 in division play.
Princeton scored five of the final six points on game one. The Tigers could not close out game two after holding a 27-25 edge, but then out-hit NJIT .491-.057 in the third game, and .257-.103 in game four.
Scott Dor? (Sr., Newport Beach, CA) registered 11 kills, nine digs, two blocks and four block assists in the win. Jason Liljestrom (So., Irvine, CA)finished with 49 assists, 10 digs and four block assists for the Princeton
The Tigers will play their last home match of the regular season when they host Penn State (20-3, 12-0 Tait) at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 in Dillon Gymnasium.
