Princeton Promotes John Mack

John Mack has been promoted to Administrative Assistant for Intercollegiate Programming, Princeton Director of Athletics Gary Walters announced today.
Mack, a 2000 Princeton graduate, has spent the last two years as Facilities and Event Operations Assistant in the athletic department.
Mack's new position will include responsibilities for intercollegiate and facilities scheduling and event management. He will also be involved in special projects under the direction of Senior Associate Director of Athletics Jim Fiore.
"I am happy to announce this promotion from within," said Walters. "John Mack was an outstanding student-athlete at Princeton, and he is on his way to having an outstanding career in athletic administration."
Mack won the 2000 Roper Trophy as Princeton's outstanding senior male athlete. During his track career at Princeton, Mack was a 10-time Heptagonal champion, and he was named outstanding performer at the 1999 outdoor meet.
Princeton won six Heptagonal team championships in his four years, winning the indoor and outdoor championships his sophomore, junior and senior years. He served as team captain his senior year.
A native of New Haven, Mich, Mack graduated with a degree in psychology.
