Water Polo Defeats Air Force, 11-6, Falls to St, Francis 13-9

Seniors Chris Armato and Kevin Foster each tallied two goals as the Tigers defeated Air Force 11-6 in the their final match of the Princeton Invitational. Princeton has served has host to the round-robin style tournament in which eight schools competed throughout the weekend.
The Tigers open a 2-0 lead early in the first quarter but Air Force battled back to even the score and the teams finished the opening quarter at 3-3. Princeton took a 5-4 lead into halftime and maintained the one goal difference through the third quarter that ended with the Tigers up 7-6. Four different Tigers each scored one goal in the fourth quarters, as Princeton held Air Force scoreless and cruised to victory.
Robert Urquhart, Dan Holligan Jamal Motlagh, Sean McIntire, Derrick Wong, Michael Murray and John Stover each had one goal in the win.
On Saturday evening, the Tigers lost to St. Francis 13-9. Robert Urquhart led the Tigers with three goals. Freshmen John Stover and Jamal Motlagh each tallied two goals in the loss. Peter Felvgi from St. Francis registered a game-high four goals.
Princeton will face John Hopkins on Friday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Baltimore, Md.
