McKenna Leads Water Polo Past Johns Hopkins 18-11

Baltimore, Md. - Junior Dan McKenna, after missing the first three weeks of the season due to injury and playing in his first game of the year, scored eight goals as the Tigers rolled past the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins, 18-11. With the victory, Princeton improves to 3-1 on the season.
McKenna scored four of his eight goals and Kevin Foster and Robert Urquhart each scored two in the opening half as the Tigers took an 11-2 lead into halftime. After three quarters the score was 14-6. Peter Sabbatini played the first three quarters of the game in goal for the Tigers and recorded six saves. Freshman Gant Wagner played the final quarter of the game in net for Princeton and recorded three saves.
Foster and Urquhart each had three goals in the match. John Stover, Derrick Wong, Jamal Motlagh and Michael Murray each had one.
Princeton will face Navy on Saturday, September 21 at 2:30 p.m.
