Field Hockey Defeats Dartmouth 9-1

Natalie Martirosian and Ashley Sennett each scored three goals as Princeton defeated Dartmouth 9-1 in field hockey action on Saturday afternoon at Class of 1952 Stadium. The Tigers improve to 3-1 on the season while Dartmouth falls to 1-2.
Princeton scored 1:04 into the game with Emily Towsend scoring unassisted. The Tigers built a 6-0 lead before the Big Green finally answered with 14 seconds remaining in the first half. Princeton continued to score in the second half with Martirosian and Sennett capping the scoring, punching in Princeton's eight and ninth goals respectively.
Goalkeeper Kelly Baril finished with two saves, Zebra Nizami also saw time in goal for the Tigers and finished with one save. Dartmouth's goalkeeper Lauren Balukijian finished with five saves.
Princeton returns to action with a home contest against Maryland next Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
