Princeton Falls To No. 1 UC-Irvine

Irvine, Calif. - Princeton dropped ot 0-2 to start the season after a 3-1 loss to the No. 1-ranked UC Irvine men's volleyball team in a non-conference match in Crawford Hall Tuesday. The Anteaters remain undefeated at 10-0 overall.
In Game One, a Kyle Weichert kill and three Princeton hitting errors extended UCI's lead to 22-16 and the Anteaters never looked back taking the game, 30-19. The Anteaters hit .571 to the Tigers .087 in the first set. In Game Two, Princeton jumped out to a 14-13 lead, but Princeton attack errors gave UCI the 16-14 advantage and they would never trail again (30-21). Princeton took Game Three, 30-22 then UCI capped the evening 30-19 in Game Four.
Blake Robinson led a quartet of Tigers in double-digits with 16 kills. Dennis Alshuler had 13 kills, while Ryn Burns and Brian Hamming had 10 kills a piece.
