The Princeton women's cross country team, fresh of a sixth place finish at the pre-national meet in Iowa this past weekend, has moved to 14th in the NCAA Division I poll this week. Princeton was ranked 23rd a week ago.
The Tigers are off this weekend before heading into the Heptagonal Ivy League championships Oct. 31 at Van Cortlandt Park in New York. Princeton figures to challenge Columbia, ranked 12th in this week's poll, in what figures to be an extremely strong women's race.
The women's soccer team slipped from 21st to 24th in this week's rankings despite defeating Boston University and Columbia by a combined 5-0 in its two games last week. The complete poll is available at www.nscaa.com.
