Bethlehem, Pa. - The Princeton men's cross country team finished second of the 33 competitors at the Paul Short Invitational earlier today hosted by Lehigh. The Tigers were spot behind Georgetown and ahead of James Madison, Penn and Columbia in the final rundown. Tristan Colangelo was Princeton's top finisher. He came home fourth in a time of 24:25.76.
Princeton placed one other runner in the top 10, Austin Smith in ninth. Smith completed the course in a time of 24:39.69. Ben Stern was 16th with a time of 24:55.86 and Frank Macreery was 22nd in 25:03.94. Princeton's final athlete scoring points was Adam Ludwig in 30th with a time of 25:03.94.
The Tigers next compete at the Leopard Invitational next Saturday at Lafayette.
