Men's Squash Opens Season With Sweep At Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Princeton men's squash team opened its 2003-04 season with a pair of wins Sunday at Cornell. The Tigers, the two-time defending Ivy League champions, started their defense with a win 9-0 win at Cornell, and also took out Western Ontario 7-2.
Yasser El-Halaby, the defending individual national champion, won both his matches, including a 3-0 win over Matthew Serediak of Cornell. Princeton freshmen played five of the top ten spots and went 10-0. Atop the list was Vincent Yu, who played No. 3 for Princeton and swept a pair of 3-0 matches. No. 4 Michael Gilman also went 2-0 with a pair of 3-0 wins.
