Yale Tops Women's Hockey 3-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Angela Gooldy scored Princeton's lone goal in the second period, but Yale scored three times on five shots in the third period to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-1 comeback victory Saturday at Ingalls Rink. Sarah Ahlquist made 16 saves in the loss.
Princeton doubled Yale in total shots 38-19, but Sarah Love made 37, including double-digit saves in every period (14-12-11), to keep the Bulldogs in the game. Her only miss came on a Gooldy goal at 9:21 of the second period. The score was assisted by Gretchen Anderson and Andrea Kilbourne.
Yale got on the scoreboard 6:20 into the third period, when Lisa Jacque scored on an assist from Deena Caplette. Natalie Babony scored the game winner 41 seconds later off assists from Nicole Symington and Suzanne McGoey. Deanna McDevitt added an empty-net score with eight seconds remaining to clinch the win.
Princeton falls to 15-7-2 with the loss.
