Princeton Well-Represented In MLL Championship Game

Villanova, Pa. - Four players with 12 All-America selections between them and an assistant coach who was an All-America in his own right will represent Princeton men's lacrosse in Sunday afternoon's Major League Lacrosse championship game at Villanova Stadium. The game will be televised on tape delay at 9 p.m. Sunday night on ESPN2.
Chris Massey '98, Damien Davis '03 and Kevin Lowe '94 will play for the Long Island Lizards as they face the Baltimore Bayhawks, featuring Josh Sims '00 and current Tiger assistant coach Shawn Nadelen, in the 4 p.m. title game. Long Island and Baltimore have met in the MLL championship game in each of the first three years of the league's existence, with the teams' having split the last two.
Lowe scored two goals and had three assists and Massey had a pair of goals to help Long Island defeat the Boston Cannons 20-14 in the Friday's second semifinal game.
Sims had a goal and assist in the first game as Baltimore defeated the New Jersey Pride 15-13 to advance to the final. Nadelen, who plays both shortstick and longstick defense for the Bayhawks, is a 2001 graduate of Johns Hopkins.
New Jersey was led by Trevor Tierney '01, who made 19 saves, while Jesse Hubbard '98 scored two goals.
