Women's Cross Country Cruises to Win at Iona Meet of Champions

Van Cortland Park, N.Y. - Emily Kroshus and Cack Ferrell were the first two runners across the line as the Princeton women's cross country team earned a win at the Iona Meet of Champions. Kroshus covered the course in a time of 21:32.3, nine seconds ahead of her teammate, Farrell.
Behind Princeton, Yale, Pittsburgh, Dartmouth and Brown closed out the top-five in the 18 team meet.
Other Princeton runners towards the top of the standings were Mia Swenson, who came home seventh in a time of 22:07.9. Carrie Strickland, Claire Filloux and Marian Bihrle made it six Tigers in the top-21 as they placed 15th, 17th and 21st repectively.
Next weekend the Tigers travel to Harvard for annual HYP meet.
