Box Score
Freshman Reid Joseph had 11 kills in his second career match, while Blake Robinson added 13 kills and eight digs, but Princeton fell to Cal-Baptist 3-1 Tuesday night.
The Lancers, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, jumped out to a 2-0 lead with 30-17 and 30-23 wins in the first two games. Princeton, as it did the night before against a solid UC-San Diego team, rallied in the third game and held on for a 30-27 win. The excitement would be short-lived, though, as Cal-Baptist hit .480 in the final game and ran away with a 30-13 win.
Outside of Robinson and Joseph, no Princeton player had more than six kills. Jason Liljestrom added 32 assists, while Jack Pichard had five digs and two aces.
Seidu Ajanako, Shamsu Awudu and Shaun Dyk combined for 49 kills for Cal-Baptist.
Princeton will play at La Verne at 7 p.m. P.S.T. Wednesday night.
