Pins Key Columbia Victory Over Tigers In Wrestling

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Columbia Lions knocked off the Princeton wrestling team in the first of two matches today for the Tigers. The Lions got a pair of pins to earn the critical 12 extra points in the 26-14 win over Princeton. Steve Sutton upset Brian Kirschbaum, who was ranked in the latest EIWA standings, with a pin at 6:51.
One highlight for Princeton was the return of Jake Butler, who knocked off John Grando 8-0 in his first match of the season. Seniors Milo Adams and Joe Looke also earned victories as they continue to build their resumes prior to the EIWA championships in early March.
The night didn't end any better, as Cornell defeated Princeton 34-3 to end the doubleheader. Looked provided Princeton's only win. 125 - Jeff Sato (C) def. Kenny Chu 16-4
