The Princeton men's volleyball team defeated La Verne and Cal-Baptist to end its California trip with a 2-2 record. The Tigers defeated La Verne 3-2 (27-30, 30-26, 24-30, 30-27, 15-9), and then swept Hope in three games (30-28, 30-15, 30-24).
Princeton is now 2-2 this season.
The Tigers put the La Verne match away in the deciding fifth game by reeling off eight consecutive points to turn a 6-6 tie into a 14-6 advantage. It was the first time all season La Verne was extended beyond three games. Each team had four players reach double digits in the kills department. Princeton's offense was led by Brian Hamming, who made just one error on the night and earned a .567 hitting mark.
