Men's Swimming Stays Perfect At Home With Rout Of Kenyon

PRINCETON - Steve Fleming won the 100 back and 200 back while Will Reinhardt won the 50 free and the 100 free as the Princeton men's swimming and diving team defeated Kenyon College 152-107 Friday night at DeNunzio Pool.
Princeton opened the night with a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay, as the 'A' team won in 1:31.84, while the 'B' team finished in 1:33.80. The team success would give way to individual wins quickly, as Princeton took control of the meet early.
Fleming and Reinhardt were the top individual stars with two wins apiece. Fleming took the 100 back in 50.70 and the 200 back in 1:49.93. Reinhardt took the 50 free in 26.68 and the 100 free in 45.69.
Princeton had three other individual winners. Justin Chiles took the 200 free in 1:39.75, and he also placed third in the 100 free in 45.78. Juan Valdivieso placed second in the 500 in 4:36.36, but he wasn't to be denied in the 200 butterfly, topping the competition in 1:49.09. Meir Hasbani won the 400 IM in 4:00.46, while Tim Ruse placed second in 4:01.39.
Princeton will swim against Navy Saturday at 1 p.m.
