Princeton, N.J. - It's more than just a game!
The NCAA Championship for Women's Lacrosse this weekend at beautiful Princeton Stadium has something to offer for everyone. See below for information on the FREE, interactive events surrounding the games which are fun for the whole family!
BEYOND THE GAME
NCAA "Beyond the Game", an interactive sports faire celebrating the excitement of the NCAA Championships, comes to Strubing Field today, Friday, May 21st and runs through Sunday, May 23rd. The event is a FREE, fun-filled interactive faire that provides visitors with the opportunity to experience hands-on what it's like to be a champion, while reliving some of the most memorable moments in NCAA history. Beyond the Game is open Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday 12-4 p.m., and Sunday 12-5 p.m. on Strubing Field, adjacent to Princeton Stadium.
YES CLINIC
The NCAA and Princeton University will also host a FREE lacrosse clinic for all who are interested where kids can meet and learn from the players themselves! The Youth Education through Sports (YES) Clinic, hosted by Princeton and the NCAA, gives youth in the community a chance to meet collegiate coaches and student-athletes who have spent the season competing for the title. Girls and boys ages 10 to 18 are invited to attend a FREE lacrosse clinic this Sunday from 9:30 am to 12 p.m. Register on-site Sunday morning in Jadwin Gym at 9 a.m.; all participants receive a free ticket to the championship game, a free YES Clinic t-shirt, and a lacrosse goodie bag!
