PVC In Boston Oct. 21
October 18, 2005 | General
The Princeton Varsity Club resumes its "On The Road" series with a luncheon this Friday, Oct. 21, in Boston's Faneuil Hall Market Place.
The event, which will take place at the Durgin-Park restaurant, is the first of two PVC "On The Road" events for the 2005-06 academic year. There will also be a luncheon in New York City in the winter.
The first luncheon is in conjunction with this weekend's busy schedule of Tiger athletics in the Boston area, which features Princeton at Harvard in football, field hockey and men's and women's soccer Saturday afternoon and the Head of the Charles crew races.
The luncheon will feature Dick Kazmaier '52, the 1951 Heisman Trophy winner, as well as Director of Athletics Gary Walters '67 and Princeton head coaches Chris Sailer (women's lacrosse), Julie Shackford (women's soccer), Curtis Jordan (men's heavyweight crew) and Lori Dauphiny (women's open crew). The event begins at noon.
Tickets are $25 for PVC members and $35 for non-members. Those wishing to attend should RSVP to Louise Gengler '75 at gengler@princeton.edu to guarantee a space, though admissions may be purchased at the door on a space-available basis.
The Princeton Varsity Club is committed to programs that perpetuate and enhance the performance, values and community of Princeton athletics as the University.
