Newark, N.J. - The Princeton men's volleyball team, which has played only three matches during a California trip more than a week ago, played extremely tough in its first EIVA match of the season, but fell 3-2 to Rutgers-Newark.
Princeton falls to 0-1 in the league and 1-3 on the season after falling 31-29, 30-28, 25-30, 23-30, 15-8 to the Scarlet Raiders. The Tigers will face another stern test on Sunday when it travels to Juniata.
