Men's Swimming Completes Perfect Weekend With Win At Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Princeton men's swimming & diving team defeated Kenyon Friday and Navy Saturday to complete a perfect weekend. The Tigers' 167-133 win over Navy was highlighted by a triple victory for Justin Chiles, who won the 200 and 400 free and was part of the winning 800 free relay.
Chiles won the 200 in 1:53.23 and the 400 in 4:32.89. He was the anchor leg on the relay team that won in 7:41.82.
The Tigers had six other individual winners against Navy. Dave Ashley won the 800 free in 8:31.55, while Mike Zee won the 100 back in 57.84 seconds. Seok Jun Lee won the 100 breast in 1:05.85, Meir Hasbani won the 200 fly in 2:06.22 and Gregory Glass took the 200 breast in 2:23.06. Tim Ruse won Princeton's final individual race when he won the 400 IM in 4:32.89.
As the results (found on the link above) show, team depth was crucial to the win. Several other Tigers earned big points with second- and third-place finishes.
Princeton will swim against Columbia next weekend.
