No. 8 Princeton Travels To No. 3 Virginia In Men's Lacrosse
March 10, 2005 | Men's Lacrosse
March 10, 2005
The Princeton men's lacrosse team was winless in Charlottesville from 1994 until last year, when the Tigers broke through against Virginia during the regular season. Not content with one one-goal win in Charlottesville in 2004, Princeton came back to defeat Maryland in overtime in the NCAA quarterfinals, also at UVa, last May.
Due to a scheduling quirk, Princeton is at Virginia again this season (Saturday, 7 p.m., WHWH AM 1350, goprincetontigers.com). Princeton, coming off a 9-6 opening day loss to Johns Hopkins, faces an undefeated UVa team that defeated Syracuse a week ago.
