Hewit Named Ivy Men's Lacrosse Player And Rookie Of the Week

Alex Hewit has been named the Ivy League men's lacrosse Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week after his 16-save effort against Dartmouth Saturday afternoon.
Hewit's performance came as the Tigers defeated Dartmouth 10-8 despite being outshot 40-25. Hewit, a freshman from Chatham, N.J., made four saves in the final five minutes, including two in the final 56 seconds as Dartmouth had a man advantage. The Big Green's final chance ended when Hewit chased a loose ball down near the end line and cleared it beyond midfield.
Princeton finishes its season Saturday at home against Brown (1).
