Princeton to Host Mascot Night on February 4th

PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton Athletics will host their annual Mascot Night on Saturday, February 4th, when the Princeton Men's Basketball squad battles Ivy League rival Brown University at 7:30 pm at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Princeton Athletics Mascot Night will provide an evening of fun and entertainment for the entire family, as the Tiger has invited mascots from local professional sports teams, as well as local businesses, to make the game day experience at Princeton even more exciting. Saturday night's event will feature Boomer of the Trenton Thunder, Soul Man from the Philadelphia Soul, the Philadelphia Phantom's Phlex, Sparkee of the Somerset Patriots, the Camden Riversharks' Finley, and The Raccoon, among others.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. as members of the Tiger Cub Club - the official youth fan club of Princeton Athletics - will have an opportunity to meet the mascots first hand at the Tiger Cub Club Party. At the party, hosted on Jadwin Gymnasium's west side court, Cub Club members will have the chance to get some free pizza for a pre-game meal, play around in a bounce house, get their face painted with Princeton logos, and mingle with all mascots in attendance. Admission to the Tiger Cub Club Party and game are free for all members. Ticket orders for Cub Club members must be made in advance.
Following the party, mascots will be on hand for the game to entertain all fans in attendance with their antics and an array of prizes that will be distributed to the crowd. Highlighting the evening will be the Halftime Mascot game, where the mascots will have the opportunity to display their skills on the hard court.
This game is the back end of an Ivy League weekend that marks the return to action for the Men's basketball squad following a break in action for first semester final exams. The team is also in action at Jadwin Gymnasium on Friday night at 7:30 pm against the Yale Bulldogs. Tickets for these and all of the Tigers' home contests can be purchased in person on the day of the game or in advance at the Princeton Athletics ticket office, over the phone at 609.258.3538 or on line at www.goprincetontigers.com. The ticket office is open from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday-Thursday, and 10 am until 2 pm on Friday.
