December 03, 2006 | Men's Squash
Led by a dominating performance by No. 1 player Mauricio Sanchez, the Princeton men's squash team completed a perfect New England road trip with an 8-1 win at Williams. Sanchez dropped only two points in the match and closed the victory with a 9-0 win in the third game. Each of the eight Princeton winners won in three games.
Sanchez defeated Williams' top player, John Barry, 9-0, 9-2, 9-0. Classmates and fellow top 3 players Kimlee Wong and Hesham El Halaby also claimed 3-0 wins for Princeton. The Tigers ended the 2006 portion of their dual meet season with a 4-0 record, including Ivy League wins over Cornell and Brown. The Tigers are not finished for the winter break just yet, as they will head to New Haven next weekend for the annual 5-man championships.
