2006 Princeton Men's Lacrosse Hosts NCAA First Round Contest

Princeton, NJ - The Princeton men's lacrosse team has earned the seventh seed in the NCAA tournament and will host America East champion UMBC in a first round match-up Saturday, May 13th at noon at Class of 1952 Stadium.
All tickets will be sold on game day and will cost $9 for adults and $5 for youth (under 14), seniors, and Princeton/UMBC students. Tickets will go on sale and gates will open at 11:00 am.
The Tigers (10-4) head into the 2006 NCAA tournament on a three-game winning streak and have won four of five. The team is led by a highly regarded defense led by goalie Alex Hewit, a Tewaaraton Award nominee who leads the nation in save percentage (.658), and a strong offense featuring juniors Peter Trombino (19g, 16a) and Scott Sowanick (18g, 17a).
