Class of 1916 Cup
Michael Broache, a Woodrow Wilson School major from Owings Mills, Md., has won the Class of 1916 Cup.
The Class of 1916 Cup is presented to the varsity letterwinner who, continuing in competition in his or her senior year, achieved at graduation the highest academic standing. It was given by the Class of 1916 on the occasion of its 50th reunion.
Broache is from the men's lightweight crew, marking the second straight year that the Class of 1916 Cup winner has been a lightweight rower. He served the stroke for the heavyweight 4 boat at this year's IRA national championships.
