Sam Shweisky Writes, Discusses Views On Positive Coaching, Imagery

Men's volleyball head coach Sam Shweisky recently shared his views on positive coaching in both a series of YouTube interviews, as well as in his own essay in a recent USA Volleyball newsletter.
Shweisky wrote an essay entitled "Aspects of Sport Psychology: Mental Approach to Competition" in this recent USA Volleyball newsletter. He added a more recent essay on imagery that can be found here. His video interviews with Positive Coaching Alliance board member Wendy Petersmeyer focus on:
Shweisky will lead the men's volleyball team into its second annual fall tournament this weekend at Dillon Gym, and then will prepare for the 2011 season, which will begin Jan. 26 at UC-San Diego. Princeton placed a program-best second in the EIVA regular season last year and then reached its first EIVA championship match since 1998, where it stayed close to eventual NCAA finalist Penn State before ultimately falling in three sets.
