Princeton improved to 20-9 overall with the dominating performance, which was its third of the season over Iona. Nine Tigers scored in the win as Tifft, Wenzlau and Jeff Cole each recorded multiple tallies. Kayj Shannon had a team-best three assists while four players record multiple steals.
The Tigers jumped out to a 3-0 lead after a quarter and never looked, back building a 5-2 lead at the half. The score was 8-3 after the third quarter before the Tigers scored six straight to close the game in the final period. Tyler Amina made 12 saves in the win.
Princeton will meet St. Francis, a 14-12 winner over Johns Hopkins on Friday, tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.
